Welcome to my website… JO & CO Mode de Vie which translates as ‘way of life’ is all about my passion – life by design – creating ways to live a better, more enjoyable, more rewarding life, to help develop and maintain a deep sense of wellbeing. Our story began over three years ago with the opening of my Village Store near Centennial Parklands in Sydney, Australia, offering an eclectic product range of specially selected food, home wares, furniture, jewellery and presents – things that make you and someone you love feel good! JO & CO is now the co-operative I envisaged it to be, bringing together a group of special people who nurture mind, body and soul, and the JO & CO web site allows me to share with more people my heartfelt desire to present the products, services and ideas I consider important to living a beautiful life. On finishing high school in Brisbane, Jo moved to Sydney to study law at Sydney University before joining David Jones as a marketing trainee, later moving into advertising, first as a copy writer and then a film producer, before forming her own award winning film production company, Airwaves. Motherhood inevitably meant leaving the world of film production and led to Jo establishing the highly regarded Bambini’s Child Care Centre – and now, JO & CO – allowing her to direct her nurturing and creative energy into influencing those she works with to create environments, products, services and businesses that not only look good, but more importantly, feel good. Jo’s focus now is on expanding her role as a mentor and motivator, developing a wider range of life style products and services under the JO & CO banner, and evolving her dream of creating a nurturing and inspiring cyberspace for her ideas and creations.
